By law, every Community Action Agency in the United States must be governed by a board of directors. This board must be comprised of one-third low-income residents, one-third public officials, and one-third business owners or other private sector individuals. NCO’s board comprises up to 12 community members who meet every month to make decisions about how NCO should proceed in the weeks, months, and years ahead.
Would you like to be a part of developing and providing human services that strengthen your community? Are you interested in making policy decisions that effectively address issues facing the low-income and disadvantaged populations in Lake and Mendocino Counties?
