Free Virtual Training

The CDSS is partnering with WestEd to offer a free expanded virtual webinar series on inclusion. This training is for all who wish to support inclusion and inclusive practices in their child care and development program, child care home, or programs they support. Each webinar will be held on a Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The next webinar will be held on January 23rd, covering Understanding Inclusion. Webinars will be in English with Spanish interpretation.

This course will help you learn how to become a citizen, support you in filling out the N-400 application, and prepare you for the written Civics Test and Citizenship Interview.
The class will be taught in English, with supplemental support available in Spanish.

Free Virtual Training

California Preschool Instructional Network is offering a free two-hour virtual training for the Approaches to Learning (ATL) domain of the Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLFs) on January 25th, from 10:00 am to noon. Participants will discuss the Approaches-to-Learning domain, identify how teachers can support ATL and recognize the value of diversity, equity and inclusion of all children.
