Leadership Mendocino believes that strong communities need informed, connected, and activated leaders. Leadership Mendocino seeks to strengthen our communities by developing a diverse group of people who will get involved and make a difference. Considered a "Masters Class in Mendocino County", participants join a prestigious alumni of over 700 members.
Ukiah Vecinos en Acción (UVA) is a Latino Coalition formed by community members who are passionate and focused on taking action on issues affecting the Latino population. This coalition acts as a bridge between agencies and the community with the focus being, to enrich the positive presence of Latinos, to serve as a non-bias platform for information, and to build an environment of trust and positive relationships with other organizations.
UVA is part of North Coast Opportunities' Fiscal Sponsorship program.
The Volunteer Network of Lake and Mendocino Counties creates opportunities for people of all ages to volunteer, learn and lead in their communities. We strive to provide volunteers with high-quality experiences that fuel further action, and we envision a day when everyone is inspired and equipped to be the change they wish to see in the world.
