Be a part of our Caring Community and join us for a Summer Soiree! NCOs Caring Kitchen Project is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with a farm-to-table dinner! Food lovers, community supporters, families touched by cancer, volunteers, and YOU are invited to attend!    The evening will begin at 5:30pm under the shade trees on the patio with appetizers, wine and music. Seasonal hors d'oeuvres provided by local restaurateurs and caterers, wine by Barra of Mendocino, and music by Fair Wind will get the party started.   Guests will enjoy a farm-to-table in Barra’s dining room featuring Caring Kitchen's signature recipes, live and silent auction events led by beloved auctioneer Rachel Britten, heartwarming stories told by teen and adult volunteers, and fabulous desserts.

All proceeds and contributions will have an immediate impact on sustaining and growing the Caring Kitchen’s ability to nourish cancer patients in our community of inland Mendocino County.

Tickets are $65 per person. Purchase your tickets to this community event of caring today!

Interested in reserving a table for 8? $500/table. Contact Tarney Sheldon directly at 707-462-1950 to make reservations instead of purchasing individual tickets.

More Information: NCOs Caring Kitchen Project in Mendocino County, is a Ceres Community Project affiliate, provides nutritious meals delivered to the homes of families struggling with the challenges of cancer. The meals are prepared by volunteer teen chefs-in-training under the guidance of the Caring Kitchen Project’s chef, and draw from primarily plant-based recipes originally created by the Ceres Community Project in Sebastopol, CA.

The Caring Kitchen Project provides opportunities for youth to develop culinary skills, nutrition knowledge, and job readiness skills under the direction of a chef, and in collaboration with adult volunteer mentors. Cooking and sharing food create and strengthens a sense of community, and the act of preparing and providing food to cancer survivors and their families empowers teen volunteers.
