The Child Care Food Program

The Child Care Food Program (CCFP) reimburses family child care homes that provide nutritious meals and snacks to enrolled children. Ongoing nutrition training is provided. The Child Care Food Program is currently serving 784 children and reimbursing 61 providers for nutritious meals served to children while in their care.

Studies have shown that participation in the Child Care Food Program is an indicator of a quality child care program. With childhood obesity being the number one health issue for many of our children, choosing a provider that participates in the Child Care Food Program is one way that parents can be assured that their children are developing lifelong healthy eating habits.

For questions or enrollment, please contact a CCFP Specialist at (707) 994-4018 ext. 603 or 605.
